Athermal and thermal systems brougth out of equilibrum by external or internal fields can show unexpected static and dynamic properties, resembling the functions and the activities of biological systems. Morphology, Mechanics and Dynamics of biomimetic systems as membranes, colloidal particles, magnetic beads and macroscopic fibers are currently investigated in the Team.
